Provincial nomination programs allow Canadian provinces and territories to nominate individuals for permanent residency based on their unique economic and labour market needs. Each province and territory has its own immigration programs and streams, and StayInCanada can provide expert guidance on the different options available.

Some of the major provincial nomination programs include:

  • Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) – offers a variety of streams for skilled workers, international graduates, entrepreneurs, and self-employed individuals.
  • British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) – offers a range of categories, including skilled worker, international graduate, entrepreneur, and tech pilot programs.
  • Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) – offers streams for skilled workers, international graduates, business investors, and farmers.
  • Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) – offers streams for skilled workers, international graduates, entrepreneurs, and employers.
  • Quebec Skilled Worker Program (QSWP) – operates on a first-come, first-served basis and assesses applicants based on factors such as education, work experience, language proficiency, and age.

Other provincial nomination programs include the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP), the Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP), and the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP).
